Mathias writes: Tonight's show of MTV Germany's alternative rock night show "MTV Spin" (Wednesdays, 11 p.m. - 12 a.m.) featured an interesting re-discovery of our alltime favorite "This Charming Man". Show presenter Markus Kavka, who appears to be a big fan of Moz and The Smiths, mentioned his and his editors' wish to have the song re-enter the MTV Spin charts, "because it is a brilliant video and a great song". He furthermore mentioned the speculations of a possible Smiths reunion due to the fact that Moz and Johnny Marr seem to get along very well again these days. After showing the entire video, Kavka went on joking about how difficult it was for German fans in the heydays of The Smiths to pronounce their name properly due to that "ths"-thing. That's why in Germany The Smiths were often referred to as "Die Schmidts". Funny. And good to have the video rediscovered.

It will be played in that show, which describes itself as an alternative rock show, which never seemed quite true to me until today, every Sunday at 10.00 pm and every Wednesday at 11.00 pm fortunately at the very beginning of the show for one month.
The important thing about it is that true Moz fans can vote at www.mtv.de then go to "shows" then choose "spin" and "playlist"
