Atlanta just had a big music event this past weekend (Music Midtown, May 4-6). Steve from 99x (WNNX in Atlanta) interviewed The Cult during the festival . Nice little interview which had several mentions of Morrissey and Morrissey's beginnings.

Cult Interview (Real Audio format, about 9 and a half minutes long).

Enjoy

...how many fellow Moz fans out there also are fans of The Cult? The Cult and Moz/Smiths are probably my two biggest musical influences growing up. Makes sense, as Billy Duffy and Moz were in same band as kids (Theatre of Hate).

Be aware of www.purecult.com for preview of new Cult track coming out.
