It's really nice to know that Alain actually takes time to answer his fan's questions. Knowing that he's a busy person, I never thought he would actually answer the questions, but then again, being the sweetheart he is, he had to do it for his fans. This just shows what a caring person he is. Thank you Alain. :) You're a total sweetheart.

Moz is prolly only like 5'9 MAYBE 5'10, exactly the Estimate I gave (Im the tall guy who met him outside in Buffalo 97, plumbers ass on stage!)...

LOL!), a special stairmaster to workout the legs (because that's what interests him!)...... but of course, what interests ME most is this comment:
"The main priority now is to do a new Moz album and get out on tour again."

          Poor, poor, Alain. (Score:4, Insightful)
I wonder how frustrating it must be for Alain, Boz, and the other musicians who work(or, atleast, are supposed to be working)with Morrissey. It wouldn't be that suprising if soon enough, either Alain or Martin, or both, will end up leaving Morrissey permantly like Johnny did so long ago.
Here is what I would suggest that they do:
they(Whyte,Boorer,Day,and Spike)should not dismand. They should stick together and continue to write songs and performing together. Instead of waiting for "the Boss" to sign to a label, what they should do is get rid of Morrissey. Yes, they should kick him out and replace him as the lead singer. Both Alain and Boz should give themselves promotions by raising Alain to be the new permanent lead singer and by raising Boz to be the new permanent backup singer(or, maybe not permanent, but at least till they find someone who can really sing). They should keep the name of the band as "Morrissey", at least, until the lawsuits that Steven will undoubtably file, will not allow it anymore.
In the case that Morrissey's luck at winning any trials changes in his favor(I seriously doubt it. Boz can simply sing for the courts and the people involved the song that Morrissey himself wrote a few decades ago about the presumed corruption of the courts and all involved with any influence in the ruling.),they can then simply change the name of their band to "Morrisey."
Anyway, that's just my silly(wait! Not so silly.) suggestion to those wonderful musicians. It just would be great to be able to listen to some new music from them at least. Plus...I think that if "Morrissey" is going to keep on releasing those compilation albums with all those songs we have on many other albums, the release would actually be of interest to anyone if those old songs would be sung by someone other(preferably Alain Whyte, of course)instead of Morrissey himself.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to go to another MOrrissey concert, even if Steven Morrissey himself wouldn't be there(maybe,NOT,huh?) to make Some of us feel guilty about the fact that we Aren't vegans and about the fact that some of us actually DO vote conservative when it comes to...AH, nevermind. I'm not trying to suggest that he dislikes those who do, but still he does make me feel very insecure about certain views I happen not to share with him. "...And, not really a bad thing...I don't think."

          Sincerely,
A Desperate Fan, Indeed In Need

PS. Oye, Esteban. Pick up your rucksack and keep-a-stepping, because if any of us here were to have your limbs for a day...we would steam away. Not fade away or shy away. You might argue that we would think that only because we don't know how hard it is or how much it sucks to be "Morrissey", but that's OK, because most of us aren't very happy being ourselves, anyway.

the only thing I can really say is that either way, Morrissey needs to decide what is to be done instead of letting everyone be strung along. That way, people like Alain can know for certain whether or not to take their material back and use it for their own purposes.

As i've said, the current Morrissey is in a perpetual waiting pose. Waiting for something to happen. Waiting for a label to wake up and sign him. Waiting for the right one to slip in. Waiting for someone to live his life.

What's wrong with being a little proactive? Yeah, we've pretty much figured out that Moz had a hand in Kit finding it's way not only into Boz's set, but also into napster. But you know something? I feel such sadness when I hear that song. The words itself mirror what happened when Boz sang it: someone else lived his life. I haven't heard any of Boz's normal singing, but my guess is it's not a croon.

I feel sad that Morrissey felt compelled to sit at home because of the nutcakes. I'm sorry he can't pick up a roll of film Walgreen's without somebody following him home. I'm sorry about a lot of things. I'm sorry that he feels like the nobodies are more able to "change things" when he himself doesn't feel like he can. He himself doesn't even realize what a remnant he is from just a few years ago when artists could last longer than 1 album. Having a career of two singles on AOR stations before you are dropped from your label, still "owing them money" does not make you the bionic man/woman.

But why does the world have to hang in the balance over what he wishes other people to do for him?

Last I heard, Alain had a mind of his own. The songs he writes can be used by him or whoever he chooses, so to say that Morrissey has strung him along is out of line. Alain as a songwriter has options and I am sure Morrissey is not his only choice, and if he is then that is Alain's fault and not Morrissey's.

                  The lesson continues-
"As i've said, the current Morrissey is in a perpetual waiting pose. Waiting for something to happen. Waiting for a label to wake up and sign him. Waiting for the right one to slip in. Waiting for someone to live his life."

If someone else was living "his life", then i am sure there would have been a few more albums and/or appearances throughout his stellar career.
Morrissey is his own person which is the reason he is unique and not a run of the mill popstar.

Morrissey, like Alain and the rest of us are all responsible for their/our own actions. To use another person as an excuse is just that-an excuse.

And finally Boz's inclusion of Kit was his own choice and nobody else's. He has mentioned it in the past that Kit is one of his ultimate favorites.
