perhaps things are different in spain, but i see no shortage of the 'singles' album in the united states. in fact, i'd say we probably have more than enough copies that american distributors can sell a substantial portion to spain and still retain enough of a surplus to feed new fans popping here and there in north america.

i'm sounding like a broken record, but let's see a more substantial release, like a smiths b-sides album, complete bbc sessions or troy tate versions release. or how about a box set of the complete singles collection (a'la the morrissey singles box set) or previously unreleased and remastered rarities?

i'm surprised sire/warner/rough trade have yet to pick up on this potentially best-selling idea.

More people is joining the Smiths in Spanish list on yahoo groups. People keep talking about them in the forums...
