The museum of modern art in Amsterdam (Het Stedelijk Museum) is now showing the works of actor/director Dennis Hopper. One of the works shown is a picture that featured the cover of 'The Smiths Best.. I and II' And also the best of video by The Smiths. It's the picture with the smoking girl and the tattood boy. For anyone who is interested, it lasts until April 16th.

    Nice piece... (Score:1)
It was quite nice to see Dennis mentioned on this site. He is one of American cinema's forgotten greats. That aura along with that of Jimmy, Montgomery Clift, Brando, Steve McQueen, ...has epitomized a lost generation of Hollywood that Stephen, I and countless other fans long for.

I am not one of those them there hom o sex uals, but I would indeed like too frolic naked in a field with the artist formely known as the miserabalist, ailing victorian poofter Morrisey. I would have some flowers shoved up my arse and Morrisey would sing a sweet refrain as I dined out on my Smiths adventure for ever more....
