An anonymous person writes: The UK's other quiz show phenomenon, BBC's 'The Weakest Link', asked the following question on Thursday night's tea-time edition: "In pop music, who was the lead singer of The Smiths?" I'm delighted to report that the contestant answered correctly.

memphis writes: Quite insignificant but - On BBC's The Weakest Link (Thursday 8th) a question was who had a hit single with "Heaven Knows Im Miserable Now"? It was answered correctly (thank God).
