Who are any of you to judge *anyone*? You may have dinner or sex or share an ice cream cone with whomever you choose, and so may Morrissey. Perhaps Courtney and Michael provide interesting dinner conversation. Maybe they had an idea for getting a record deal. Maybe Morrissey just didn't have better plans that night. It's really none of our business.
At any rate, I'll bet Courtney and Michael didn't ask him if the Smiths would ever reunite or tremble when he walked into the room. I'm guessing they treated him like the "regular bloke" you're all accusing him of forgetting rather than gushing all over and around him like many of us do. As for Courtney Love dining with them--makes plenty of sense. Michael Stipe and Kurt Cobain became really good friends at one point, and it crushed Stipe terribly when he passed away. Stipe and Love have since become great friends as well... sooo... like I said, makes plenty of sense for Stipe to have brought her along.

So although it has been pretty well known that he frequents certain locals in the surrounding area, I really don't see why something like that should be posted. I am happy for the person who had the chance to see him, but maybe some of the details should be ommitted(name of restaurant).
I am fairly confident we will not be seeing his address and phone number posted under the FAQ section to the left, so why mention a restaurant that he is comfortable with? He has also been spotted at certain record stores, book stores and grocery stores. Let's not make this page a stalkers haven for information.
The person who met him and the other characters at the table played it cool, but the fact that some of the fans are less casual can make for an akward and unnecessary situation.
   

Courtney ROCKS and Michael Stipe is one of the brightest things in US pop music. Why does everyone get SO hysterical when Morrissey is spotted with anyone? Well, now that Michael seems to bring his friends to Moz, I would like to see Peter Gabriel with them (after all, Michael and Peter have seemed inseparable these last years, especially in their fight for Human Rights and their Witness program).

I, for one, think complaining that things are 'lame' and then using words like 'rad' to express your views are equally disturbing!(Terribly funny, but sickly disturbing!)

I'm a big fan of video and have several concerts to trade!

I feel that now is the best time for artist to do it themselves and am excited about what Courtney Love and her influence can do for the Moz and all of the hard working indie artists throughout the world!

Yeah, it's scary company for sure (the Courtney part), but lest we forget even Jesus Christ used to associate with theives, criminals, and prostitutes! Why shouldn't Moz? He is allowed to do as he pleases, and if you lose respect for his MUSIC because you lost respect for his RELATIONSHIPS with others, maybe you never should have been a fan in the first place. Perhaps some of his amazing insight into how the world works will rub off onto Courtney, who truly does need help.
