It wasn't long, as tributes go, but very nice indeed. It included a short interview from 1995 and a few live songs including "They Don't Know". Kirsty was in good spirits and spoke from the heart. She spoke of her love of songwriting. She commented on the fact that though one stays generally the same person, through life's experiences and "revelations" one's opinions and attitudes change. She discussed writing "Walking Down Madison" with Johnny Marr. She played a cover of a Lowell George(of Little Feat) tune, "Willin'". Ironically, George died before his prime as well, suffering a sudden heart attack in the beginning of his solo career. (It's a poignant song to begin with.)
I taped this program and have a friend who has promised to make a WAV file out of it for me. I'll post a link for it as soon as that happens.
