I'm an independent press journalist writing a story for Gadfly magazine on Smiths/Morrissey fans. I'm interested in talking with someone who's been to a Smiths/Morrissey convention about their experience, and I've found precious little on the Web about the event. Is anyone interested in helping me with my story? I assure you it will be respectful of all involved.

you are sitting around, bored at the house. it's another day after a tiresome day at work. You always check your email first thing when you walk in. Nothing but struggling porn stars and cable discramblers. Then, you check out Moz-solo to see if Morrissey has managed to erect a lifesize gingerbread replica of the Salford Lad's club since yesterday.

Nope. Not again. Hey...wait a minute. The Moz-con is today! oh...right....Morrissey's not going to it. Some coverband that Mud guy keeps yammering about as the main act. Memorabilia I won't buy or can't afford. Let's check out the news item on Morrissey being the answer on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. That looks interesting.
