Just found this on The Creatures website, as posted by Budgie:

How did the duet with Morrissey (and Siouxsie) a few years ago come about? Had you known each other before that?

MORRISSEY WROTE TO SIOUXSIE AND SENT A TAPE WHICH INCLUDED THE ‘TIMMY YURO’ VERSION OF INTERLUDE - NO RELATIONSHIP BEFORE AND DEFINITELY NONE AFTER.

Fictional conversation between MORRISSEY, Siouxsie, R. Smith, Sean Brennan (from London after Midnight), Ian Curtis (if you don't know this one, shoot yourself) and other "Gothies" (Andrew from the Sisters, and Nick coming out of his Cave).

      Siouxsie's comments on Moz (Score:1)
Siouxsie's comments are to be taken with a pinch of salt, she is always slagging off someone or other. She could be spot on about Morrissey, who knows? Who cares? I'll still buy his stuff, assuming he actually releases anything ever again. I liked 'Interlude', the two singers don't have to get on together, so long as they managed to get together and do the song, thats the important thing. Reckon Mozzer could be a bit of a bollox, but thats his business, not mine.

Interlude? Is that even worth talking about? (Score:1)
Sorry to some that may be offended, but Interlude sounded like something John Tesh would have recorded. You could almost hear the distaste in their voices. As far as production value, hats off to Boz, but the song is so incredibly dull. It belongs in the same garbage bin as Pregnant for the last time.

Pretty two-faced of Siouxsie to bad-mouth Moz for nationalistic imagery. I remember many a picture of Siouxsie in her punk rock days wearing a Nazi armband. But that's different, right Sioux?
