Tonight was another one of my delightful hunt's for 'MORRISSEY' rarities and so on.I made my usual stop at a little 'hot' shop in west covina and it was there, where I heard this hideous remark . . . .-a chubby little man , who is the owner of the record store , was tending to one of his customers at the register and the response to a question that was asked by the customer bothered me a bit . . ''who is morrissey?'' . . .
'oh he's some guy that every 'darn mexican' in california loves''. . ''oh , he is a latin star''
. . . ''no , just some pop singer'' That was a bit disturbing to me and I would like to say that those of you who know which store I speak of . . .know that the owner seems to be a 'prejudice heavy weight' and when you happen to be shopping there and he is present , give him a smile and let him know that it's great to be 'just another mexican morrissey fan' shopping in his store . "How much for that 'Hatful of Hollow' poster on the ceiling?" [This being a time when the chubby little record store owner applied his posters on the ceiling.]

"One hundred dollars," bellowed the portly little record store owner visiably proud of himself for the power he thought he weilded.

"Are you crazy? Why?" said the potential poster consumer.

"Becasue it's my last one and I don't feel like going through the trouble of getting it down for you." And with that said, the chubby, balding shopkeep laughed at himself and to one of his pathetic record store groupies with a bad robert smith haircut.

in regards to the rumour Johnny will produce Oasis (Score:2, Informative)
in regards to the rumour from the Jan issue of Q that Johnny will/has produced the next Oasis album. On Nov20 Noel Gallagher said the following to BBC Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq: "We're going out to South America in January to do Rock In Rio and a couple of festivals because we didn't make it there on the last tour. Then we are going to come back to England and revamp the set, do some new songs, and go out with the Black Crowes May to November, so that's the best part of the year taken up. That's put our album back by six months. So, it's a bit of a bummer really - you don't turn down chances to go on a tour like that every day." -"So you've put the album back, or is it just the album with come when it comes?" "There wasn't a date. I've written six songs, and I think four would be considered for an Oasis record. He's (Gem) written one, that's five. Liam's written a few, so we'll probably get one or two out of that. But as it stands we've not got enough good songs for a record. Over the next six months is probably when we'll start writing. It will come out when it comes out - it's not a contest for us any more. It doesn't matter when we put records out, as long as we keep doing it once in a while." So, it's obvious Q has their facts wrong.

Johnny Marr Producing Oasis/ Moz Pic/ Xtra thought (Score:1)
Well, Johnny is very talented, (Even though IMHO he does not displays all of his talents with Electronic). Considering that I am not into Oasis except for his first record and part of his second one (the rest is just a bit too annoying for my taste), I Think that Johnny is making them a charity if he produces them. BTW, I Really dunno how Johnny Marr could be fan of those guys. But well, this is what humanity and diversity among people is about, making life more interesting (I guess).

My dream of Johnny and Moz collaborating again (be Moz as a guest of "The Healers" -BTW, I heard 3 songs of them. I Highly recommentd them- or Marr in Moz's next record) is still alive.

Mozzer's picture. WOW, for the 1st time in my life (Well I mean this year is the 1st time in my life), I think he is gorgeous. I did not realize that, or maybe, I did not find Moz that attractive for my taste. AND, for my anonymous friend above... Does it BOTHER to you that the man is human? Baldness is natural in the human male. Face it!

Echoing the article that accompaines this pic, I Found out Moby does not Want to produce. I Insist Moz Should call Tricky, and Johnny Marr... Maybe Trent Reznor (Is Morrissey aware of NIN? Moz and Trent have more in common that you can imagine!). Well, as long as Mozzer does not take 8 years as Peter Gabriel has done... (advise, Why doesn't Moz release his new album through the Internet, as it has been rumored. Bowie and Fish have done it with excelent results!)

I found funny the comment of that anonymous girl in putting Moz with Rupert Everett together; because he is one of my favorite actors (because of how good he acts. Period). I would not like them to have a romance (it would not bother me if they do, though. It's their lives.) But I would like to see them in a sort of "Conversations (between artists)" program. It happens that Morrissey and Everett, among other things, both are big fans of Oscar Wilde. Also it would be interesting seeing the two discussing about their views of sexuality, and about David Bowie...
