In Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada there is a bar called "The Morrissey" It is turning one year old on Saturday the 26 of November. They are giving away about 100 cds and what not. They actually do play a lot of Morrissey there.

There is a pub here in Toronto called The Morrissey as well.

It has been around for quite some time.

Nothing to do with Moz though.

I got really drunk at The Morrissey once on a trip to Vancouver. When I was in the bar I didn't know it was called the Morrissey but I did notice they played a couple Morrissey songs as well as songs by New Order, James, Belle & Sebastian, and The Cure. Once I left I saw the name of the bar a flipped out. I made my friends take a picture of me in front of the bar. My question is do they always play such great music there? I travel up from Seattle to see shows sometimes and it's always great to know of a bar where they play good music.

I recently visited Vancouver this past summer for the second time. I do remember seeing a pub by the name of Morrissey's Pub. I saw a site on it on the net, and it didn't say anything at all about Moz. I wonder if we're actually talking about the same one here. Being that Moz's parents are Irish, i did wonder if there was some relation, but i still remain unsure. Does anyone else have any more info?
