Chino Stikes Again...

I just returned from the Deftones concert in Mesa, AZ and Chino did it again. I don't know if he does this at every Deftones show, but when he noticed my Smiths' shirt and pointed it out in the crowd, he started to sing, "I was looking for a job..." and I yelled back "and then I found a job and heaven knows I'm miserable now!" And after the show, I saw him and asked if he has ever meant Morrissey and he said, "No, I wish."

The Deftones show was excellent and Chino was cool. This just goes to show once again how much of an impact and influence The Smiths' had and continue to have.

    Chino strikes again... (Score:1, Troll)
    Chino has excellent taste in music. He mentions the Smiths and Morrissey in almost every interview, plus bands such as the Cure and Mogwai. Not too bad...
        The Deftones have also covered Smiths songs in concert, and maybe it is harder, but Chino does know the lyrics well, and it always sounds good.
    Viva Chino and Morrissey!!!
    p.s. This may be a stretch, but Maverick is a label that talked about signing Morrissey, and Deftones are on that label. Ok, that's a stretch.
