Frank Bouchier-Hayes writes:

Moz mentioned on "Snapshots" by guest Judy Mae Murphy, a writer, who said that when she was 13, she saw Moz in Grafton St Dublin, handed him a poem which she had written, and ran away. Moz liked the poem and wrote to her, sending her rare Smiths memorabilia. The initial meeting with Moz was in 1983/84.Their correspondence lasted a few years. She finished her interview by saying that she has only recently given up hope of marrying Moz.

oh and BTW, one should never ever give up hope in marrying Moz. Only if you*d happen to find another driving force that is... :)

She's written a book called That Girl From Happy, just recently published. It's about a girl who has committed suicide. It's fairly good but I think Judy's stories about Morrissey and herself were exaggerations.
