NY Virgin DVD and signing alert - on sale at midnight (?)

Virgin Megastore NYC has been saying that the DVD would go on sale at 9am when the store opens on Tuesday morning. I just called the store now (Monday 8pm) and they are now saying that the DVD and passes will be sold at midnight, until 12:30! The store closes at 1am, but I guess they want people to clear out early. If you plan on going Tuesday morning you may be too late - call first!

Yes I called the store today as well, and they told me the same thing - since I already swung some time off tomorrow morning to go get my wristband and got the day off on Friday for the signing, I didn't think there was any way that I could hang out in the city after work all night and be functional the next day - I'm HOPING that when I get there tomorrow morning there will be one wristband that I can get a hold of.

i personally witnessed the very last person in line get #58. (just a quick note to assure those planning to come on tuesday morning that there is indeed hope...)

Hey all. I jumped in line about 8:50 this morning and there may have been less than twenty people ahead of me and some weren't even there for the dvd. Perhaps because a lot of people have work and school or perhaps because the signing has gone virtually unnoticed. I stopped by Virgin last night and the only thing to clue you in on a Moz signing was a tiny sign in the corner. Maybe this signing will go quicker than the LA one. See yallz Friday.

I dont expect much hoopla over this event if today , this morning, at Virgin was any indication of the measured intrest. Only a handfull of people in line, not much energy and as I was one of the last to leave the store with ticket numbers, 92 and 111, there was no one else in sight with desperate eyes.

I arrived at about 9am on the dot, and found maybe 60 or so people ahead of me in line. I'm always a little amazed to see Moz flans in the flesh. I'm NOT the only one!

Why does my ticket say 401? I think I'm actually #100. Gotta sneak out of work for this one.

I'm just going to introduce myself and thank him for the choice of Bowie's "Drive-In Saturday" as the oddball encore of the 2/29 Beacon Theatre show.

I suppose a hug is out of the question.
