| Wheatus - unexpected fans of Moz |

The band Wheatus who sing "Teenage Dirtbag" featured in the movie "Loser", starring Jason Biggs and Mena Suvari, came to my old school the other day. Since there is always mentioning of bands/singers praising Moz/Smiths,or noting them as influences, I decided to inquire the same of Wheatus. I asked my sister (not a fan of Moz or Wheatus) to go wait in the line for an autograph and when she got there to just ask if they like Morrissey or The Smiths. She thought this was an odd request and really just a shot in the dark. But when she got up to them and asked, all the students had to wait longer as the lead singer, Brendan Brown, went off about how "Louder Than Bombs" and "Kill Uncle" were two of his favorite albums, sentiments that the rest of the band agreed with. Though not a Wheatus fan myself, I still love to see all the magazine blurbs and interview quotes all the different bands and singers make regarding Moz, someone should start a list...
