And you thought paying $100 for "Education In Reverse" was too much money for a Moz item...

After searching on "Morrissey" on eBay, I came across a listing for a diner in Fairmont, Indiana starting at $125,000. It is a 1950's style restaurant that is reportedly the one Morrissey shot part of his "Suedehead" video in. A perfect collectible for those of us looking to retire!

that's kind of funny considering that when i went there a few years ago the owner told me that she had been offered up to $5,000 at one time just to buy the stool that morrissey sat on for the video, and she said she would never sell it! now the whole place is for sell? that's funny. on a side note, she did sell me two photographs she took of moz when he was on the set outside in the street for five dollars a piece! anything for a quick buck these days.

Don't you find it deliciously perverse that a supposedly former hang-out of James Dean is actually getting attention from the fact that Morrissey happened to utilize it in his video homage to the man?

It's just like how Morrissey took Elvis' and Dean's look at made it his own.

It's things like this that make me just shake my head in wonder. Morrissey is way cool.

I became a Morrissey fan back in 1988 because of that video. I've always been a James Dean fan. When I went to Fairmount two years ago I spent all of my time in the Gallery and at his grave. I think I looked one time for that diner and never saw it. That is funny , $5 dollars a piece for those pictures... The closest thing to Morrissey I saw was some guy doing "The Twist" during the 50's dance contest! It was a scream - the guy was a dead ringer for Morrissey.
