Ben Lee opened for Guster in Syracuse on Monday, September 4th. He opened the set with "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want".

I know it's not huge news, and not everyone will care, but Ben Lee is darn good, so maybe someone will want to know. You can see more about him at ben-lee.com.

      I saw Ben Lee play the same cover of "Please, Please, Please . . ." at the Blake Babies reunion show in Birmigham, AL. The whole concert was nothing more than a wedding reception for original Blake Babies' guitarist John Strohm. I payed $15 to see the wedding band. Both Ben Lee and Evan Dando from the Lemonheads played opening acoustic sets. Ben Lee's version of the song was quite strong and moving. It seemed to be an appropriate ballad for the bridal couple.
