And this is what we get? I found it to be lacking a bit in substance/quality. Maybe she should consider a career change.

I got hear about 1/2 of the interview on an audio tape. There's a whole lot of humour in the interview that doesn't translate well on paper I guess.

The "2 straight guys rolling in bed..." question came out sounding incredulous - with a bit of disbelieve. like, "2 'straight' guys rolling around in bed???" you know.

There were a few other questions like that, but I can't remember which ones but I know there was a lot of laughing in the interview.

All in all I think it was okay. I think it sounded better than it was written. It wasn't a total waste of my time by I just do not care one way or the other about Spencer. I was just searching the interview for the Moz bits.

as a guy who was already on friendly terms with them, he did seem to bare his fangs quite a bit at their Morrissey questions, and that's where people might have gotten the idea.

i would also want to know how this guy goes from saying that he was unknowingly sacked the second time around to saying that he had left them purposefully.

if it were true that he was being shoved out by other band members in competetion for songwriting, i can see it. The most critically acclaimed and fan-approved song from that entire era was "Lost", and it hinted that what people have been saying all along might be right. Next time, it might not have been relegated to a b-side and that would be bad...at any rate, i hope he uses his songwriting skills for his new band and he finalizes the band line-up enough to do them full justice. It's nice to have someone step out and have credit instead of merely being treated by everyone on the planet as simply being an interchangeable melody bed for Morrissey's lyrics.
