Moz Atlanta show
Just wanted to let you know that I called the Tabernacle today (Saturday) around 3:30pm and they told me that the show had been cancelled for the second time and no date was set. I asked the guy if the show would still definitely be with them (the Tabernacle) and he said they wouldn't know until another date was put forth.

Gothenburg, Sweden (Dec. 2) rumor
I called a guy called Micke Jakobsson at Arenan, the venue in Stockholm where Mozzer played last year. Micke is in charge of booking the acts to Arenan and he has booked in Morrissey for the 2nd of December, a Saturday... it's not definite but Micke thinks it's highly possible that Morrissey will be on Swedish soil that very day. Micke thinks Moz has a Scandinavia tour on his mind, but... it is only a preliminary booking.

Moz in Greece again?
I read in Sunday's papers here in Greece that Moz concerts are planned for later this year. Can't say who told that to the journalists but it was stated in serious newspapers "To Vima" and "Eleftherotipia".

The thing is that none of these dates have been "officially" announced, except for the Florida show, I suppose. Because you can buy tickets from the box office, and because it is listed on Ticketmaster, it would appear that he is certainly going to play there. But these other shows are just rumors, and until the tickets actually go on sale, I wouldn't put too much faith in them. However, I really DO wish Morrissey would have the kindness to let us know what is going on. Just a few lines like "We will be playing a few shows/a whole tour/extensively this fall and winter. We are working out the details and information will be available soon." Or "I have decided to fire my entire band and start anew with a rave D.J. I discovered in Los Angeles. I guess I didn't tell my band they were fired, but thanks to this Web site, they know now. To come to my shows call this number: I will give you the secret directions and the password." Or maybe even "I am certainly not going on tour. However, you may buy tickets to all the rumoured shows. Of course, refunds will not be given out--all proceeds will go directly into my bank account."

Well, the only reason is that Greece -as well as the lost Atlantis- is underwater, so nobody can perform there apart from Morrissey who is an experienced scuba diver....
Anyway, if you come from Atlanta you are justified to feel superior because of the city's cultural contribution to the humanity, i.e. the Coca Cola Company.....

You would think they would have a great sense of humour, since they invented the all-male nude olympic games, their women have thicker moustaches than the men, they looove their farm animals, and nobody wears deodorant!

This just in. Morrissey had to re-schedule all shows because he was asked by Egyptian President Moubarak and U.S. President Clinton to perform a show for the Lebanese and Israelis in order to restore Peace in the Middle East. When quoted, Mr. Clinton said: "Mr. Morrissey will be the catalyst for World Peace. Instead of having people hate each other, he has the uncanny ability to make people feel miserable about themselves. Frankly, Mr. Shankly (Mr. Clinton chuckles), I prefer that". The usually guarded Mr. Moubarak, who was asked to take over as mediator, had this to say: "As Anthony said to Cleopatra...that's a good line (chuckles). My Buddy Moz will help restore peace. I think I'll invite him for a game of backgammon and some falafels. He's vegetarian, right? Oh, well no shish kebab tonight".

Yassir Arafat had only one thing to say: "I'll start listening to Efendim Moz only if we can sit together and he Asks me, asks me, asks me".

No comment from the Israelis President who could not be reached. He has been spotted in Manchester tracking down his hero, Johnny Marr.

(The story above is fictious. Like everything else with Moz (except for perhaps talent), everything must be taken with a grain of salt: Tour, album, personnel) We love you Moz.
