Below you'll find a link to a French fans project that combines lip synching and audio dubbing on ‘I’m OK by myself’.

This is a non-professional Lipdub shot in Paris (Père Lachaise, Champs-Elysées, Concorde, Eiffel Tower...) during summer 2010.

This project is sincere testimony to the music of Morrissey without any artistic claim.

  • My goodness, this was fantastic.

It had everything; violence, love, sex, jealousy and of course, a terrific soundtrack. Morrissey's music has proven to be a constant source of inspiration to many creative people.

Kudos to all involved in the project.

  • I was looking forward to seeing this as I really liked the trailer.
Alas! This clip contains music from UMG & (like so many) is not available in my country. :-(

After I've finally had the pleasure to watch the video, I absolutely fail to understand how some people can put it down.
It's done remarkably well & it is immensely enjoyable to watch. I loved every second of it & I hope everyone involved is as proud of this film as they truly deserve to be.

Congratulations to a real work of art & beauty!

  • Thank for the "evil" comment. It's quite nice to read your feelings about the project, which was never said to be perfect. Whatever you think, I'll point out five things :

    1. It's quite rude to write such things when you're not able (or, as you may say in the US, "you haven't got the bollocks (??)" to identify yourself. Very courageous indeed.

    2. Whatever your point of view is, which I can respect, please read the disclaimer (as you may not have) just note that none of those people are actors.

    3. As you seem to be so good at judging a video creation, please let us watch what you are able to do, and then,, once you've been able to DO something on your own, be my guest and we'll talk about it. I wouldn't like to be rude, but if you can't actually do anything, I mean something like that, it means you haven't got the hability to judge so, in that case, just "p... off" (sorry).

    4. I however agree with you regarding the costum. It was in fact the white one I got and I'd just lost 16 kgs a few weeks before... :-)

    5. I will check the filmography of Forest Whitaker, thanks. See, you can actually write things which are interesting and positive.

    6. I wait to see your work, but don't be afraid, I will ever respect someone who makes something as a creation, so even if what you do is "craper" (we say that?) than my work, I will definitly respect it, which seems to be the main difference between us - respect -

Have a nice day : why not spending the afternoon watching this french lipdub for example ? Just kidding! Enjoy life, mate, instead of writing bad things about people who try to do something about the singer we BOTH like (as for me, since 1986, which is early for France) :-)
