The Most Cringe-Worthy UK Celebrity Moments of 2010 by Mackenzie Wilson, BBC America

When it comes down to it, celebrities are human beings, too. They make mistakes just like us. Right? HA! This year saw no shortage of celebrity slip-ups and the press was swift in spotlighting who did what in what fashion. On Monday (December 13), we asked Anglophenia readers to choose which UK personality gave 2010 its biggest gaffe. Sarah Ferguson tops the list of unlucky ones. But may everyone included here be on their best behavior in 2011.

  • the real EMI story (Score:3, Insightful)

sorry folks, but I gonna write the reason why
EMI put 3 almbus from Morrissey at the cataloque

well in the dutch 3-voor-12 newsletter was a story about Guy Hands who owns UK

in Fact there's only 1 EMI Europe headquarter,
and that is the UK, they closed Belgium and Netherlands , both countries and their directors
had a positive money making EMI unit for the both countries, all 2 in their own countries

at one day, they were invited to London, and the message that the UK the only EMI [London] central
headquarter had, reason, lots of money losing in other countries

So the deal with Morrissey could be off, cause
their are talks about take over, BMG is interested, but it was a bit unclear, cause that was about USA or the whole, not sure

final point, EMI is having financial troubles,
and no deals yet made, but the last part was
talking about a take over, or Guy Hands fired

well it's bit messy story, but it's clear why albums go out releasing,EMI having giant money troubles, but what's new?

So this made it a bit unclear about Morrissey's situation, all depends if the UK headquarter will
    continue and survive, me thinks

sorry for putting this here, but it was a part
of 2010 issues and looking back

  • Oh, really !

    Think of me
    And Miss Me
    Cos I'll be missing you
    Promise to be true
and I'll be true to you....

    Dream of me
    And Talk to me
    Though were far apart
    I will hear you dear,
    hear you in my heart.......

    Best Wishes for 2011

  • Again the out of context subspecies quote rears it`s ugly head. It`s more of a reflection on the compilers of this list, if they consider racism as simply `cringeworthy`, rather than detestable. Yamaha
