Russell Brand on why he's left the groupies behind

Excerpt:

"I wouldn't trouble MORRISSEY with a wedding invitation.

"That's why NOEL GALLAGHER is so fascinating. The point where he becomes your mate, where you forget what he has done and then you think, 'Oh, you're actually really clever'.

"But with Morrissey you do not forget that it's Morrissey from THE SMITHS.

"There's never a moment you doubt it."

Good luck, Russel. If you treat her well, the sex will remain cool and you won't need any groupies for the rest of your life. This advice is my wedding present to you, read it somewhere, sounds very clever and true, so it must be. :P

  • I heard "California Gurls" on the radio and I wonder. So Russell is a Moz and Oasis fanatic which shows he has some taste in music. Does he lie to Katy when she says.."ooh I just wrote this great song called California Gurls..tell me what you think". He has to know it's shite! I'm not always a hater but seriously that song is so bad.

  • I bet we're all just has bad as Mr. Brand for talking about Moz all the time to other people?
I bet we are except we just don't realise it.
Anyway, i hope Brand and Miss Perry have a happy long lasting marriage. I doubt they will, but ya never know.

  • And they're blinding him!!

Did he mention that he was in love with a pop star and that she was a proper, lovely (pop star) bird...and that he really, really, loved this pop star? It's almost like he's trying to convence himself! I think Russell is great, but...he's losing his charisma.

  • Is this a slight dig, Russell? Don't get like Sandie Shaw and become ambivalent towards the man. Morrissey doesn't have to be anyone but himself. Don't treat his friendship lightly. Yamaha

    • I took it as a slight dig, as well. People who befriend Morrissey and then turn a blind eye obviously have no idea how lucky they are to have Morrissey has a friend. I'm shocked Russell is doing this, but as I stated before, I think it's all going to his head and he doesn't know "shit from clay" anymore (to quote his great friend Noel Gallagher). Oh well, fame, fame, fatal fame...

Seriously, I don't really find this all that
interesting, except to say that I find Russell Brand quite hilarious on some of the programmes I've watched him on. I'd wish him all the best after the shit he's been through with drugs and that, but as for how his marriage will go that's another story. I guess it all depends on how he handles himself with regards to monogomy and if he is really serious about settling down, I'd wish him all the best. Everyone deserves a chance to be happy.
