Saffire, who she also makes mention of, is my daughters band that was also on the bill.
After the performance, I thanked Kaki for the dedication and then returned the favor by giving (actually cutting w/ my swiss army knife scissors) her a piece of Morrissey's shirt. This particular shirt was thrown into the crowd by Morrissey during his triumphant return to the performance stage (Apollo Theater NYC, May 3, 2004)....and I was lucky enough to end up with one sleeve! Kaki King later Tweeted about the piece of Morrissey's shirt that she received, and labeled my gesture as 'EPIC'.

Kaki King plays and sings well, and the way she covers "Please, Please, Please..." is really nice.
Brava.
