Jonathan Ross stated that Morrissey will now not be appearing on his show this morning. He stated that the Mope has cancelled a few concerts recently due to ill health.

Also stated that now Ross can start his show with Bruce Springsteen and lead straight on to Lady GaGa, without Morrissey complaining.

    Thanks for the reminder! 1 hour to go before it starts. Ross is a big Morrissey fan so the chat should be interesting. I'm sure he will ask Morrissey about what happened in Swindon.

            I doubt anyone is really surprised that he pulled out. He probably wasn't looking forward to it anyway and Swords' sales were unlikely to have improved.

                Just heard on Jonathan Ross show (10.06am) that due to ill health etc.. Morrissey has cancelled his Radio 2 appearance this morning!!]

                Hope this has no effect on the Liverpool Echo Arena concert which im attending Tonight !!!

                            Strange how he is not well enough to do Ross's show but well enough to do a gig later.

                            Then again i'd pretend to be sick to escape the dreaded company of "Wossy" too if I was him.

                                I'm not surprised is not doing Jonathan Ross's show.Our Moz is doing too too much.Liverpool tonight then Europe.We all need to have a rest.Moz tours so,so much more than other artist.Other artist might do about 3 or 4 arena gigs in Britain then do the rest of Europe just playing a few big gigs.Then take years off.Wish you all the best Morrissey.

                                      ...but bonkers' was also how Jonathan Ross cheekily referred to Morrissey, presumably peeved at his third 11th-hour withdrawal. No wonder the BBC decided to pre-record JR's programme! Big-mouth!

                                      In fairness I watched Jonathan interviewing Robbie Williams on TV last night - http://video.aol.co.uk/video-detail/hd-robbie-williams-on-friday-night-with-jonathan-ross-1162009-part-1/2055762622 [aol.co.uk] - and was surprised to find it gripping and humane (for a few minutes anyway!), touching on experiences that might be recently salient in Morrissey's case.

                                              I just read that Moz has canceled three shows over the years in the San Francsico Bay Area. I remember one cancellation at Golden Gate Park and another at the Paramount in Oakland last year. Anybody know the third? Thanks.
