Jonathan Ross just played Thats How People Grow Up at the end of which said Morrissey would be in the studio in a couple of weeks, with Andy correcting him saying Moz would be with them in 3 weeks!!!

  • Why does Morrissey insist on surrounding himself with people like this?

    Is he really so insecure, so shallow that he must be around fawning sychophants like Ross and Brand?

    It's so sad.

    Wouldn't it be nice to see/hear him interviewed by someone who matched him intellectually...or, even more interestingly, betters him in this area?

    Will Self would be top of my list.

    Jonathan Ross and to a lesser extent Russell Brand are entertaining and Morrissey clearly enjoys their company. So,what's the big deal? Just because they may not be as bright as Oscar Wilde doesn't give people the right to deem them as idiotic cretins! Think the slagging off they get is mostly down to jealousy. At least they have a grain of charisma and don't take themselves too seriously, which is quite refreshing nowadays.

    I think an interview and/or live performance will do the Man good.

    Morrissey is so much more at ease on the radio than he is at a television studio with an audience, and a camera, and a host. You can tell by watching him on Ross's 2004 television interview, (which was fine) but sometimes you could tell he wasn't sure exactly where to look and focus his attention.

    Moz is best one-on-one with no distractions. On the radio, he can focus, do a great interview and just be his grumpy old self.

    Hopefully Wossy will let him get a word in once in a while.

  • I twittered Rossy, and got a reply saying morrisseys slated to appear this weekend, And he plans to give morrissey the birthday present he never gave moz due to missing his party.
