Thanks for that, anonymous caller. I love that comment. Time grips you sliding in its spell. I can completely relate to your interpretations, analysis, and predicament. Especially the formulation regarding just because some people have the same favourite singer as me … I am nothing like them. Which is how I am interpreting it. And you know what else? I think Morrissey is ashamed of 95% of his fans. And you’re right – The computer has totally changed music. Well, especially for singers, who are a genius, like Morrissey. I am just so happy that Morrissey accomplished everything before the destruction of humanity. Limited aspects of humanity. Because humans, they were never really any good. But the concoction of computer created humans, well the good ones, well less. Your post was so deep and well written. But then, also hilarious as well.

In all of my ventures to find someone who loves Morrissey, after all these years. I have discovered that it all means nothing. It all means nada. I have just discovered some girls are bigger than others. Send me your pillow … the one that you dream on. There is not one single person who feels the way I do. And if they write to me on those rare occasions, they just dissipate. Gone, gone. I was looking for you – Are you gone, gone. But then there is BrummieBoy. Good things come to those who wait. I had to wait over 6-7 years to encounter BrummieBoy aka Einstein. He is the only one, supporter who has been consistent with me. And I am very thankful to him. I am very blessed that he has been here, beside me for a few years. And as always, I’m here right beside you. There’s something to be said for that. Patience is a virtue, and it was well worth being patient for him.

And I believe in fate. You see, I am not here to actively seek out just anyone. And I’m not looking for just anyone. I don’t want any more friends. And on the subject of men … the men that I meet now, they just want to either A. get in your pants … or B. they want, if you have money, they want to see how much money they can get out of you. And that there shall be no more “new” recourd covers of “new” songs that they can put under their computer accessorized magnifying glasses, mirrors, microscopes, etc. And also they are going to continue to splice all of their tape recordings. They can no longer analyze (and wrongfully by the way), and rip him which just validates what conformists they really are.

Did you just compare a Smiths compilation to a Morrissey solo compilation? I think that even Morrissey would chuckle at that one.

The problem with modern Morrissey fans is that they've grown up on the banal So Cal rock aesthetic for so long that it's normal to them. They don't have the necessary frame of reference to understand how Morrissey's sound has been rendered mainstream since Southpaw Grammar.

It's humorous to watch how much they hold Morrissey's least inspired material in high regard. They walk with the same strut that older fans did, but, in terms of quality, it's a difficult attitude to defend these days.
