"Contrary to reports from dubious web-based sources, Morrissey's St. Petersberg show went ahead as scheduled and was spectacular.

Please ignore any rumours about show cancellations unless they are verified on Morrissey's official website, MySpace, Facebook or Twitter."

  • This site, more often than not is a great source for up-to-the-minutes reports on news and gossip, because its the fans that report the news. Twitter, MySpace and such are usually run by press relations people and are useful in their own way.

    If you enjoy the onsite reports such as soundcheck songs and crowd capacity and you can get that here in the Forums from folks already in line texting it in usually to someone who then reports it in.

    Lesson here: consider the source and just be vigiliant. Just as Sheik Ilderim said to Ben-Hur, "there is no law in the arena."

  • ...over staff pay. I agree with the earlier poster who suspects that the place simply doesn't reflect Morrissey's self-image or what he wants to achieve.
