  • Interesting to hear from Gannon in his own words (I guess there was a bit of him in "Jewel in the Crown" as well). Looks good for 42.

    Never saw The Smiths live but I think their sound was at its best with the addition of Gannon.

    The only time I can recall Morrissey ever mentioning him was in a dismissive way, something like "He has to live as Craig Gannon". Surely over the out of court settlement. I guess that payoff was in lieu of a songwriting credit? (Gannon doesn't seem to have any on Warner Chappel site).

    How is the music he composed for the Queen is Dead DVD and is that film worth watching?

  • It's such a shame that the Gannon/Rourke/Joyce combination was cut so short during the solo era. Two singles and a live show wasn't enough!
