Let's really have some ferocious nit-picking about this 'uniquely' irrelevant sheet of paper. Has Morrissey dotted his i's and crossed his t's? Tell him off, if he slips anywhere 'becuz of is pooor eduktation'.

It's a sign of the times, I guess, when everyone's trying to offload all their supposedly 'priceless' stuff on EBay so they can make the payments now that teaser rate has gone vertical.

Hey! You tried flippin condos. 'Rare' junk on Ebay. Back to flipping burgers. If you're really lucky.

This needs to be shredded and recycled like every other pointless piece of clutter on the planet. The words live on in the song. Who needs this dreck? You do? Careful, you'll end up like Morrissey in a room full of books and records with no friends and then you'll go postal and spend decades blaming everyone else for not getting blow-jobs to The Rubettes at the back of the bike-shed.

Life is so tragic. And brief. A mere whisper within the eternal silence, and so on and so forth.

    Next!

        Perfect Song Writer... (Score:2, Funny)
Morrissey has confirmed what we already know: he is the world's most perfect song writer! With the exception of a couple of corrections, he wrote the lyrics to this song almost EXACTLY as they appear in the final, produced recording! They just flowed from the pen!

        Give me a break.

There is no freaking way this is the parchment Morrissey used when he penned this song. So, for someone to pay $500+ for a piece of paper on which Morrissey, after the fact, wrote down the lyrics to one of his songs is obnoxious.

You don't have a nice word for anyone or anything. I remember this competition and wanting to win this (I'm that old). There is no claim that this is the first draft of the lyrics, only that they are written out in Morrissey's hand, which looks genuine enough to anyone who has ever seen his handwriting. I'll keep subscribing to the website because I like reading about Morrissey, but if I were Morrissey I'd like my fans to be a little kinder than the furious, red-faced children who scrawl on the nursery wall in here.
