  • If you buy tickets to see him at Troxy, make sure you are aware of where you are sitting as the seating plan on most sites is misleading. I recently went to watch Nick Cave there after purchasing 2nd row seats on the first balcony to find we were "sitting in the gods". No lie, it was a f'in disgrace, we could barely see the band :( Lovin the Great Yarmouth gig Moz, very camp... someone hold me chips whilst I nosh him under the pier ;)

    Anonymous -- Monday December 08 2008, @01:44PM (#315960)
  • More like 4 minutes!

    I got mine at 09.57.

Was entering credit card in gigsandtours at 09.58 and lost the tix by the time I hit send!

And someone on here suggested he chose the Manc Apollo cuz he was scared of not selling out the Arena - dream on dude!!

  • This is a proper UK tour then!?

Christmas is cancelled. credit cards at the ready!

Some great venues but Great Yarmouth Pier? Only Mozza can do it!

    And final the Brixton Academy!
    Anonymous -- Monday December 08 2008, @01:58PM (#315966)
  • Should be a lot easier to get tickets for these ones. It;s the Royal Albert Hall & Manchester ones that are most wanted tix.

Having said that, Brixton academy will sell out fast.

  • Announcing London and Manchester to make it seem like they were a big deal...everyone rushes out and buys tickets...then he just announces more shows.
Seriously, I'm losing more and more respect for the way this man and those around him conduct their business and treat the fans by the second...

Think I'll just avoid the tour as a whole. Didn't bother with the 'Sound Of Smiths' (wow, Moz really put the work into the title there!), or the boxset (it even came with a "tacky badge" people!) and I just can't be arsed with this nonsense.

He'll always be one of my all time heroes but that doesn't mean that I think he's flawless...

    Not impressed

  • Its frustrating not knowing which and when to buy as one could eventually be announced on your doorstep.

Its ridiculously premature too, we're planning for next summer here.
