    he only talks about how great it was in the Smiths, I've read about around 10 now since 1999
    though it's amazing how he can talk positive
    about Morrissey as frontman of the Smiths

  • Not really that dramatic michael or am i missing the point? Thought it would talk about a hissy fit or mass brawl but just repeated what everyone already knows! Next week - How Joyce sued Morrissey......

  • always talks up The Smiths these days; regaling us with quaint anecdotes about his tea sipping bezzy ole 'china plate' Mozza and what a 'magical' time it was...this wouldn't be because there is a new Smiths CD out, would it?

    Said magic brought about one of the most bitter lawsuits, over performance royalties, ever contested.

    Morrissey claims the only bit of nostalgia he has clung on to since The Smiths days is the letter he received from Alain Delon, re: artwork on TQID.

    He, 'Mozza', spent over five years in The Smiths - and in his treasure chest of nostalgic mementos is a single letter from an aging French actor!

    I have no reason to dislike Joyce, but I think he really is a cynic.

  • He says that he didn't understand the pressure Morrissey was under as the front man during the Smiths days but that he appreciates it more now...

    Hold on. This man was a drummer. It was Morrissey who had to live through those songs on stage every night. It was always about Morrissey only.

    So it has taken Joyce all this time to realise this. He is a bit slow on the old uptake.
