      I heard it today, it sounds like a generic male voice, doing a sort of twangy grunge voice...like Garth Brooks meets Nickelback. It made me severely nauseated. Songs like that should simply not be covered, especially for a commercial.

        Doesn’t Warner Bros have the rights to the song though? In any case, I heard the song today, it was terrible. It sounded like they tried to add in some generic country feel to the basic chorus. Sad.

            I've family members who are huge football fans, so as I sat with them today for a while, that commerical came on and I nearly fell out of the chair. That song has so much meaning to Morrissey fans - deep emotional meaning. It was almost like the life being sucked right out of me. When you think of football, as someone else said, you think of tailgating, beer, and cookouts...Not exactly activities you'd associate with Morrissey. This is just one of those things that will always and forever baffle me, I think.

            I saw the commercial today as well. Though I am a football fan and a Morrissey fan, I've never thought of them intertwined like that. It was strange.
