Dear Morrissey management, if you happen to be reading this, good luck with your new management venture and you are managing one of the finest and most original artists ever. I do have one problem though, under the current financial situation in the UK, largely to do with cost of rising oil prices blah, blah, blah, people can barely afford to budget from one month to the next and personally speaking I do not relish the idea of finding a hotel in Dublin (rising prices), a flight (rising prices)and a bit of spending money (I have little left these days). Why are we left wondering if there will be any dates closer to home in the UK? Yes, I will pay 40 quid for a ticket to a gig closer to me and take 60 quid to spend, that's not too bad, but there is NO WAY I will spend beyond my means now. Please organise a tour and consider your followers.

Not that Morrissey is to blame, but Decca and (if the previous story is true) IE should surely be the ones making solid gig announcements?

Dates always seem to filter though from various sources, get noticed by diligent Morrissey-Solo members, and then get posted here.

If it wasn't for this site, would we have to check fly posters pasted to city walls?

It's nice and exciting enough getting this drip-feed information, but surely someone earning lots of money should be informing us officially of Morrissey's live dates so we all know what's going on?

            Where IS the official source?

I'm sure Moz would agree that it's all looking a bit unprofessional and for all his whimsy, he does like to have solid management backing - which he doesn't seem to be getting.

If it wasn't for Morrissey-Solo we wouldn't know anything, so thanks again to DavidT. Moz is a thick cunt if he slags off this site. Moz Solo was a bedrock of information during his wilderness years while he was busy crawling up Latino ringpieces.
