Morrissey was spotted at the Siouxsie gig-

'Absolutely electric atmosphere! I was crushed at the front (which I guess is how it should be!) Fantastique!!
OH! AND....Yes, the gig was filmed
Also, some of us at the front saw Morrissey on the upper levels of the venue'

He was there. Siouxsie was great. I was expecting good but she was great. Morrissey obviously didn't agree.

If she had known that he was there, then she probably would have kicked his ass.

He flaked out of their "Interlude" video shoot, and was never heard from again.

Morrissey likely holds many records for flakiness.

    Dare I also add Dido?
I won't add Tori. We already know her opinion. She's entitled to her opinion, but I disagree.
I also can't add Fiona Apple. While Fiona is immensely talented, she should have been exiled for that nasty, ultra-sleazy "Criminal" video. With love,

    joking

the hate is just done by the press, they both are
icons of the same age/time...if the hate was so
    bad, interlude wouldn't had happen

and I think they both were disapointed that this
song did bad in the UK charts...and the press
was already waiting for the mudslinging between
    them

I'm sure their is apreciaten from both sides

Morrissey was there seated next to a blonde girl. (Score:1)
Morrissey was seated in the mezzanine part amongst the guests. He was already there 30 minutes before the beginning of the Siouxsie'concert. He spoke with one of his friends : a woman with blonde hair close to 50.
Everyone saw him 'cse he was in a part very lighted at the second row of seats on the right. People had in fact view on him from the other levels and from downstairs.
He attended most of the Siouxsie'show and left before the encore. I guess he must have gone to a place far away from the public eye 'cse too much people looked at him.

People from the back of level 1 could have access to the mezzanine but no one came to annoy him to respect his privacy. Arturo was not on his side and he had no bodyguards next to him apparently.
In the standing stalls, people often raised their arms to show where he was. That lasted 30 minutes til the beginning of the concert.

NOTE : Morrissey didn't get on with Siouxsie for the video of "Interlude" : that's why it was not shot. Siouxsie explained it in her biography. Moz still carries on listening to Siouxsie records, so he wasn't annoyed by what she said. Proof is that he recently mentioned once again Siouxsie & the Banshees in 2006 in an interview for the magazine GQ.

He is a man of true integrity and masculinity, like Morrissey or Tyson beckford.

Many thanks to Strutting Rooster for leaking from the Siouxsie forums and to cosmonauttwo for the fine, objective report and the scans/link to the GQ article, cosmonauttwo! (Moz modeling Pierre Cardin and Gucci, oh my!)

I think it's commnendable, out of respect for Siouxsie as well as Moz, that people left him well enough alone to enjoy the show.

I saw her show in Hollywood and was in awe at her power in captivating the audience on her own. She has a great backing band with her, and the old Banshees/Creatures songs were well-appreciated here as well as the new stuff. In addition to Nancy Sinatra's "Boots..." she also did a Doors cover (my memory slips but I think it was "Light My Fire") and some 60's song cover (sounded like). I'm not too familiar with The Doors but I realized then how much Jim Morrison might've influenced Siouxsie's style and sound, musically.

And I must add, the woman is in a-maaaazing shape...she is just ageless. And those kicks, I will never be able to dream to achieve in my lifetime. Catwoman in full force! She must be doing yoga with Madge, haha!

Though whatever feelings or events between Moz and Siouxsie are their business (imo), it's nice that Mozzer was able to get out and show his own support for one of his foremost female peers.

Has anyone else noticed that a "Budgie" is credited under Gear Transportation in the credits of Ringleaders? Hmm...same one?

Cheers to Shepherds Bush for the respect for our Man and Catwoman and a plug for A.Cooke's Pie & Mash, y'all!
