He died of liver complications. He will be missed dearly by me, and all of the friends he had here on Solo. Thank you.

davidt: Sad news to report. Larry (Lon, user #121) was a longtime friend to the site who I have had some great memories traveling with. Thanks to Kali for passing on the news.

  • I'm very sorry to hear that. Lon (Larry) joined around the same as I did over ten years ago. He was always a positive person around here. One of his last posts was simply: "Why do you all complain so much?" Indeed.

    Here is a saying that Lon liked. I shared it in a time I was going through a hard time because of the death of my mother..

  • All your friends you have in Mex City will miss you Larry...what a week pal!! met the man, drinks with the band, first row...wow...I remembered he described that gig as the best of his life, yes indeed, it's been the best of my life so far too...
