Morrissey Displays Political Preference On T-Shirt - The Music Slut

Hardcore Moz fan, Scarlet Ibis, created the following item, specifically for Steven Patrick Morrissey. He wore it at 1 of his London gigs earlier this week (photo courtesy of EPbabe).

  • Have you ever noticed that all the strongest critics of America, and the USA haters around the globe, are all supporting Obama/08? That's suspicious to say the least, its like taking your biggest enemy's advise on what you should dress. Or the same enemy saying: "Go ahead, jump out of the bridge, it will be fun!". If Bin Laden could vote, i have no doubts he would endorse Barack Hussein Obama.
I know, Morrissey has his issues with George W., but America Is Not The World crosses the line and its too generic (who is the fat pig? George W.?), so I dont think Moz wants the best for America, really. I like Morrisey for his music, but his political views sound like a leftist essay of a 5 year old. Obama is nothing but a media phenomenon, with no relevant experience to take the job, which is the most important seat on earth, period. Is like handing the keys of your Ferrari to your 12 year old son.
America needs to change shifts, to fix what is wrong, improve what is right, and not to mess up the whole country even more.
Morrissey, thanks for your music, but take your political views to Iran when you tour it (that is your dream right?), wear a t-shirt with yourself and the Iranian oposition leader (do they have such thing?) printed in it and good luck!
And let the Fat Pig Americans decide what is best for them.
    Cheers,
    Jim

  • How can we take Obama seriously when he isn't even able to tell the public the truth about 9/11? Is he suddenly going to change when he gets into office. Of course not. America and the world needs a change. We need to get rid of the criminal Zionist regime controlling the world.

I realise that most Morrissey fans are unable to see past their hero but for those interested in reality I suggest you do your own homework and start asking serious questions of those "serving" the people.

  • So sad to see that the once King of the Outsiders is now in amongst the fashionable majority.
He's in league with the likes of:

    Green Day
    George Clooney
    Oprah Winfrey
    Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz
    the Goo Goo Dolls
    Jennifer Anniston
    Susan Sarandon
& just about any uber-hip, A-list actor or musician

Sad, he used to be someone who stood out from the crowd.
I'll be interviewing for a new idol.

  • better reform our immigration policies. My best friend who I consider mi hermano is an illegal immigrant from Mexico and I will do almost anything to help him stay here in the States with his son. So my vote and my family's vote will go to anyone who reforms immigration...Republican or Democrat. I've always voted Republican and yes even for Dubya (regret that now) but voting Republican doesn't matter to me anymore...keeping mi hermano here is what I care about the most. Viva Morrissey!!!

  • Great job, Scarlett, and kudos for having The Man himself throw it on; that is like the ultimate endorsement.

If you would allow me to be Martha Stewart in interview mode for a moment and ask you briefly how did you create this shirt and what materials did you use?

I think your answer would be of interest for the creatively inclined out there.

    Thank You.

  • i would take Moz as much more of a Dennis Kucinich supporter. Kucinich dropped out about a week ago, but i'm surprised Morrissey hadn't shown interest before. he endorsed Obama at a show in New York in '07... and frankly, it was a surprise. Obama (ignoring all the crafty rhetoric) seems like a pre-approved privately-financed establishment candidate... not to mention one who funded the Iraq war over and over... along with Clinton.
