Jacko gets plastered in Barnes and Noble. Plus: Bizarre Gordon, spokesman for Pentonville lags and scourge of Tim Jonze

...In other Tough Gordon news, he's squaring up to our friend and man about town Tim Jonze. Relaying a yawnsome tale about how Russell Brand can't believe his luck at being flown to LA to make an appearance in Morrissey's next vid (you can see where this is going), Gordon remarks that Russell's bound to have a great time: "At least you won't c*** it up like the numbskull from the NME."

While you're at Rhamphorhynchus Records, please sign up to Morrissey Saved My Life...I would love your inclusion in my little fan club. There will find TONS of Morrissey rare and live tracks. 2008 can be a great year for Morrissey and I want to give him the online fanclub recognition he deserves. His official site is a joke.

thanks,

If this report about Brand being in the video is accurate, then I think this is great news. Morrissey hasn't done a silly video since Ouija Board, Ouija Board. Could be fun to see.

With Morrissey and Brand together, this video may actually get more airplay than usual.

Plus, Brand mentioned earlier this year on his radio show that he was doing a documentary about Morrissey:

Former 'Eternal' singer Louise Redknapp, 33, is married to ex-England football star Jamie. The couple have a son, Charlie, three.

                    Excerpt:

Q: Italia Conti or Sylvia Young?

A: Italia Conti. I had some of the best years of my life there. Martine McCutcheon, Sheree Murphy and Emily Lloyd were there.
Russel Brand was there too and he's a great guy. He was super-intelligent and very, very talented. And yes, he dressed and spoke pretty much the way he does now.
