This is no way to run a tour although we should be used to it by now. Got Ed ticket but would rather see him closer to home. Can't help but think the whole NME thing has all been rather well timed with so many websites and newspapers runnning the story which in the bigger scheme of things isn't that big a deal. The NME will apologise and admit it was worded badly and Morrissey gets all this exposure and announces a big tour and new recording deal.

Birmingham Town Hall, once a famous concert venue, re-opened in October of this year after a major refurb. Queen, Bolan and The Smiths all played there previously. Perhaps Moz should check it out?

And if he could pop into Walsall Town Hall on the way, so much the better...

After the sage debacle last year it looks like Moz has gone for the irish connection by playing in sunderland ( for the uninitiated the football team there is owned by an irish consortium , managed by an irishman and sponsored by an irish sports company). its a really nice venue that has been recently done out .. but its all seater ! Do us a favour Moz - get them to take out the seats in the stalls. still waiting now for the pre sale tho.
