Im in LA so im so there but I agree TJ isn't the nicest place on earth but eh it could be worse. At least theres good cheap booze "cervesa" and some good tail down the street "adelitas" for a few bucks. And to top it all of EL MOZ! SASS!

I'm seriously so overwhelmed right now I can't even describe it. The Tijuana, Mexico border is only about 10 min from me (and to everyone who is scared, trust me it's not as sketchy as you assume). I hope both locations become legit, I'd love more than anything to see Morrissey in SF on my birthday as well. Truly the most refreshing news I've had since his last date here.

Do you really want to be at the same show as these sad motherlickers eating their dinner in the middle of the show with a glass of wine? There was another venue like this on the tour in Atlanta GA, 20th July recently and Moz hated it and made comments about people eating meat while he was doing the show. This is all happening right around my birthday...and I have friend that lives in San Francisco that I have been meaning to visit. Now, if only I can convince the husband to take me, as it is on the other side of the US!

We are working with the promoter that is bringing Morrissey to El Foro in Tijuana so the second we get the ticket link, we'll post in on our site and let you know on Moz-Solo also. We're sure it won't go on sale no later than next weekend.

have not been filled yet on the Fillmore's calendar. The dates around them are, but not the specified dates....

Please on Sept 11 would be a perfect day for a concert...

morrissey said on a radio interview that he hated tijuana. i don't see why he wants to perform there.

I hope everybody held on to their ticket stubs from in Morrissey's words "nightmare" San Diego concert. Are they honoring them at the door? Isn't Julia Riley from San Diego, so he is obligated to perform a make up show?

Desperately hoping that more shows are leaked or announced soon... I don't want to buy tickets for SF and then find out he'll be in my backyard the next week... it's about time for some official word, isn't it?

After a lot of touring all over the world I would think that he would take more than a month a half of rest. Plus, isn't there supposed to be a "Greatest Hits" release. Will he be touring supporting that album? Only true-to-you will tell.
In the meantime, I will save up for my first ever donkey dance in TJ. I hope it's true.

first satisfy his obligations by rescheduling the cancelled shows from earlier this summer? I for one am holding on to tickets from the Baltimore show that they say still might be rescheduled. I think it is pretty low for Morrissey to undertake new obligations when he hasn't fulfilled his old ones. But that's what I've come to expect of the man. Very little.

Carry your wallet in your sock and carry some extra cash in your front pocket. You might need it incase you get stopped by the cops and need to pay "the fine" upfront.

He plays Tijuana because this is where all the biggest fans are: When he plays Mexico the whole area around the venue becomes a Moz street-party. Moz loves Tijuana & Tijuana Loves Moz! Simple as.

I really really hope that Morrissey did some gigs in the UK before the end of the year! Perhaps 2 nights in Blackpool or London? But hopefully no big venues like Ally Pally.

I was notified today by the venue that there will be general floor admission, although I'm not sure how much those tickets will cost, but they will be onsale next week according to the owner. Now I don't have to worry about sitting at a dinner table and attempting to control myself! :)

Think about it. Why don't other bands or performers play there other than Mexican bands or nobodys. Well, because the logistics are a nightmare. As soon as the tour bus crosses the border into TJ it will be pulled over along with all the equipment trucks. Then, the bribes to the Mexican "police officers" will start or they will plant drugs on the band and crew or in the buses. All the gang members from LA will be down there on THEIR turf. You don't want to be an anglo in TJ at a Morrissey concert. Mexicans are very racist nationalistic people and like I said, you will be on their turf. It's ironic because Morrissey is the most white English guy on the planet. The only thing in common Morrissey has with Mexicans is that he was raised Catholic. Morrissey will probably have someone drive him down from his home in Malibu (yes people he still lives in LA) so waiting around before or after where the buses are to see him won't work. The venue has the acoustics of a high school gym. If he walked off in San Diego at an outdoor venue after 35 minutes because of the sound, what makes you think he will stick around at this place? I have a bad feeling about this concert if it actually does get scheduled.

All of those comments about how bad is the choice of tijuana, come from stupid people with anger and racism deep in their minds, but the truth is that Tijuana is the coolest place on earth, they have it all, gorgeous mexican girls, people with good attitude, great food, lot of alcohol, drugs, hookers, porn, beach and sand, i mean all the freedom that the society needs... there's al lot of people that they aren't prepared for this kind of diferent life, they just want a car, a little house and a hamburguer... I hope that Morrissey sings the song "America is not the world" , and make emphasis in the part "america you know where you can shove your hamburger",... "hey you, you fat pig.
