  • I've been waiting a long time for this film to finally see release.

Good to know I'll see another special hero in it as well.

  • Whilst on the subject of Mr Marr, I should tell you that Swallowneck nearly got a Johnny Marr tattoo to join his two others...

He has some latin message tattoo'd on the small of his back which, when translated, says: "Take It To The Hilt". The other tattoo - which is the inspiration behind his Moz Solo username - is a blue swallow on his neck, except it looks like a freakin' budgie!!!

Oh, the reason Swallowneck didn't acquire the Marr tattoo was he heard the first Healers album and retched violently!!!

  • Scott Walker is the best singer in the world. His 60's and 70's recordings are incomparable. Even without Johnny's contribution this documentary would be unmissable.

  • i went this evening and i really enjoyed the film. there are so many pop people in it, mostly praising mr walker and even critiquing his work. marr mentions "strangeways here we come" and how he wanted a kind of scott walker melancholy on the album. thanks for posting this news item.
