I just heard on the radio that Morrissey will be playing in Chicago on November 21st at the Aragon Ballroom. They said that tickets go on sale Saturday. I think it's ticketmaster. They also said it's his ONLY show in the U.S. this fall! Too cool. Also that website jamusa.com has it listed on their front page.

only show? (Score:1, Interesting)
Well, Chicago is a better location for a one-show-only gig. Though it's still too far for me to travel to.

I still think more shows could be announced. The radio station may simply not know how Morrissey works. Is there any reason why Morrissey would travel to the states, with his band and other tour crew, just for a one show?

I caught his Chicago show in 2004 at this venue. The stage was huge so no stage invading. Also, it should be pretty cold at that point to wait around all day (the last show was October and it was cold.)

I am 100% going from Philly though, wouldn't miss it.

The Aragon Ballroom?!? I hated that place in 2004! It was BY FAR my least favorite venue of that tour. The stage is literally like 9 feet high there. No one could reach his hand, you had to really crane your neck to see him, ugh...

    I love Moz.
    I hate the Aragon.

Why can't he play the Chicago House of Blues again as in 2004? That place is GREAT - perfect venue, perfect atmosphere, pretty good sound quality, and a great stage setup and height. C'mon, Moz,

Longevity, it's been 20 years, great musical master then, great man now. Moz is back, it's been 20 years. For anyone like me who was there then, we need to go back.
I checked this site to find out if anyone else was at the 86' show at the Aragon. So far I haven't found any messages. Morrisseys only words spoken to the audiance during that concert was, "Your kindness is overwhelming..." Great show, look forward to seeing him again. I saw him in 04' at South Bends, IN. Morris Civic, still the showman and unforgetable.
