Its as big and trendy as Guadalajara, and its 2 hrs away frome the Texas border, so many people from the other side of the river could come down (Hey gringos: watch out with the mexican migra heh?)...
In the last few years Monterrey has hosted concerts by Placebo, the Cure, Pearl Jam, Garbage, Moby. In this 2006 Depeche Mode sold out the Atena, also U2 and The Rolling Stones played before +35,000 people...
C´mon people!!!!

But Does anyone knows where are going the saless tickets?
In ticket master they still do not anything

maybe Morrissey should do 2 dates in Mex City!!

Though there's nothing official yet, that sounds believable from that newspaper.
I have been making some research and those dates make sense for Mexico city and the venue, actually all other venues he could play at are booked for those dates except Palacio de los deportes , which is HUGE , I find quite difficult to believe Morrissey would sell out.
However last time he played in Auditorio Nacional for a sold out 10,000 and was amazing. If it's true he would be in Mexico around those dates then he's gonna bump into Pet Shop Boys who are playing both Guadalajara and Mexico city in the same dates.

Don't forget to come to the south of the Equator after the Mexico gigs and book a few dates for us Brazilian fans.
Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo at least.

Es cierto que estas fechas propuestas para México no están ocupadas pero los boletos no están anunciados ni en Ticketmaster (ni en el 3259000 ni en la página web) y menos en Ache Producciones: no echarían a Moz al Palacio si lo trajeran los de Ache.

Por otro lado, claro que Moz llena el Palacio. La verdad en el 2000 fue un error que lo hayan llevado al Auditorio, los "lobos" estaban más payasos que siempre y no nos dejaban estar agusto aunque de plano los que estaban hasta delante no tenían cómo controlarlos pero a los que estábamos en lugares menos privilegiados, todo el tiempo estuvieron fregando estos tipos.

En fin ...

El cantante británico se presentará los días 14 y 16 de noviembre en Guadalajara y Ciudad de México.

La gira mundial de Morrisey llegará a tierras mexicanas en un par de conciertos que prometen ser memorables para los fanáticos que lo esperan en el país.

Morrisey llegará a México como parte de la gira que emprendió tras el lanzamiento del disco Rigleader of the tormentors, producción inédita que se encuentra promoviendo actualmente.

La cita para todos los fanáticos del que fuera fundador y líder de The Smiths en la década de los ochenta será el 14 de noviembre en la arena VFG de Guadalajara y el 16 del mismo mes en el Palacio de los Deportes de la Ciudad de México. La venta de boletos tanto para el concierto de Guadalajara como para el de la Ciudad de México será los días 16 y 17 de octubre en una preventa.

It´s sunday night and there is no information at ticketmaster, ocesa or banamex internet pages, about the concert so, they have a serious problem with their merchandising departaments or once again i guess all the rumors about the Morrissey concert are a ton of lies. Sad but true my friends.

En la mañana en Reactor dijeron que la venta de los boletos se pospone para este miércoles.

También hace rato hablé al Ticketmaster y la naca que me contestó me dijo:

TM: - "No, todavía no hay nada confirmado para ese grupo. Esté pendiente de las noticias en los medios."
yo: - "Se supone que hoy iban a salir los boletos, eso dijeron en el radio pero acaban de decir hace rato que se pospone la venta para el miércoles"
TM: - "Entonces si salen hoy sería hasta las 11am"

Después de una llamada de casi una hora de larga distancia desde Cancun al DF, logré que un tipo de ticketmaster me informara brevemente, que aun no hay nada confirmado, ni en las páginas de TM, ocesa o banamex aparece ninguna información. Empiezo a creer que alguien se esta cagando de la risa de todos nosotros.
