I love this "I have an idea..." introduction. And I do love Mr. Tseng for everything he's doing for us but posting this is just ridiculous.

I'll be keeping an eye on ticketmaster, but have to wonder at the logic used to come to the conclusion that Moz is coming to Ireland again. Sounds too similar to the end of the Quarry tour (same date if I recall)for my liking. Then again, it doesn't take much to check ticketmaster, and if Moz is coming it is great to get the heads up.

can we just be more imaginative with how about asking morrissey to taking a bloody tour to Asia like China, Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia or Afrika countries like Morocco etc.

why is always US, or else in Europe. is Morrissey ever noticed that in those region countries, lots of his fans waiting him to come around and light their days with his songs?

ahhh, i'm just kidding. don't take it to personal because it's useless anyway

Its a nice idea, but just wishful thinking for the moment. I hope it does happen but just because you checked the Point's website and saw they had nothing booked for the 19th it doesn't make it a story worth publishing. Although if you add the comments he made about the Dublin dates this year on true-to-you "I did not enjoy the Dublin festival as much as I'd hoped; the Point would've been better. Just as, earlier in the year, the two nights at the Olympia seemed silly; the Point would've been better" and the fact that he asked the crowd would the Point have been better when he played the Olympia.....well it just makes for more wishful thinking really. To be honest, I'm bloody sick of travelling, and broke from it, so I want him to play in Cork - I don't care where, just so long as I can the bus home and not have to take three days off work for one gig. (Hey, everybody else seems to be able to piss and moan about Moz not playing where they want him to play - I'm just thought I'd join in and be sociable. Of course if he does announce the Point, I'll be sitting at my keyboard at 9am the morning the tickets go onsale frantically refreshing the page until they go on sale, and glad of it.

I hope Morrissey just goes back in the studio and records a better album than ROTT. Furthermore, I hope he fires his current band and hires the lads from Radiohead to compose and perform the music. Who will produce you ask?? Easy. Rick Rubin.

Do you think he will play the Point though? I wonder if he might do the Ambassador instead? Marlay Park didn't sell out...

In any case, when he played the Ambassador in 2002 we got 4 weeks notice between the tix going on sale and the gig. I found out about the concert on Aertel on Saturday afternoon... about 3 days before there was anything about it on this site IIRC! Marlay Park was also discovered on Aertel, about an hour before he took the stage in Killarney. Aertel f'n rocks!!!
