How the bollocks can Razorlight nick Morrisseys audience, he outdoes them by miles, they are shit, whats wrong with those people.
Morrisseys album is amazing live, he more than blew me away at the Cardiff gig, wooo go Morrissey.

This article is a perfect example of what people like and dislike about Morrissey. Some people like "Ganglord" and some people dont. Some people think "Pigsty" is way too long and miserable but some people think it's a Morrissey master-piece.
The Smiths has been a Ball & Chain situation for Morrissey. Yes, The Smiths was a Great band yet short-lived but Morrissey as an solo artist has been making interesting and strong music for nearly 20 years! He is a very very credible artist - and the Best of our times - and continues to push the boundaries within the current climate of "pop" music.

I highly doubt Razorlight is capable of "stealing Morrissey's fans" for a mere glance, never mind "for the night" for they really don't share the same audience.

The writer makes it sound like Morrissey was singing the crickets to bed. The C4 coverage clearly showed a pretty sizable crowd for the Morrissey set.

Having not really got into the latest album, I was hoping he wouldn't play too much from it, and it was a little frustrating that more of the solo back catalogue wasn't explored. Having said that, Mozz and the band had me wrapped up in the show, it ranks amongst the best shows I've ever seen!

Going on a lot of what's been said over the past few days, it seems that a festival is now only good for trotting out the songs (most) people know and numbers which will have them bopping on the spot - I don't recall this ever being the rule.

But this was Beautiful South on Saturday night and very good they were at it too - it was also the exact same show (give or take) that they put on ten years ago.

Fuck, if I want repetition, year after year, I'll go see Robbie in a stadium - and judging by Saturday's crowd, that's where most of them'll be heading next, incapable of recognising the difference between the rip off tribute bands like Razorlight and the pure authenticity of our Moz.

You know something's badly amiss when Jade Goody is being asked her opinion by C4 but this is where we are headed, catering to the 'thicker than pigshit' celebrity hoardes and the even thicker automatons that buy the mags and read the papers.

So, Greatest Hits only please. Wouldn't want to tax those tiny minds into listening to something unfamiliar.
 

Moz had a great audience, he was superb why does he have to sing his greatest hits! as for razorlight 4 of my mates pissed of to see them and they know nothing about music 'say no more'

The main stage was absolutely jam packed for Faithless. And then when they finished, most people standing there (i.e. more than 10,000 of the 20,000) wandered across to the 'other' stage where Razorlight were playing. This is a truthful statement. You lot are so bloody defensive!

Yes, there were still a few thousand fans there. May seem a lot but it's pretty pathetic for a festival headliner. Morrissey's approach to choosing his setlist means he'll probably never get asked to headline a major UK festival again . Great for the tedious indie snobs among you who want your favourite bands/singers to remain obscure like the sickeningly naff and unbearably twee Bill and Sebastian.
Boring people with 7 songs from a new album means very few will bother buying it; Beautiful South played 2 fantastic songs off their new one. I guarantee it'll re-enter higher than Ringleader of Tomatoes in this week's album chart).

I was there! At the front! And it was outstanding!!! Anyone who says otherwise is obviously not a Moz fan - Razorlight will NEVER steal Mozzer's fans, cos they are just old style stadium rock and in my opinion - piss poor!!! But then as Moz himself told us all... Our opinions just don't count...

I was at the concert, and whilst its true that a huge amount of people left when faithless finished their set, I must admit (without wanted to sound horribly arrogant) that I was delighted they all left, as they were laregly a bunch of spivs (all too common in Chelmsford I'm afraid), & it was very easy to get very far forward. This is the same site where someone drew a crude penis on a poster of Morrissey, along with: 'This man is a ****, do not listen to his music if you suffer from depression'. Why should Morrissey aim his set at ingrates like that? I thought 'Pigsty' was absolutely sublime, and it literally reduced me to tears (please don't think of me as weak). Anyway, what was the 1st song? 'Panic' a predictable offering to those who may not be familiar with all the latest hits. (And of course 'We'll let you know' is pre-Quarry. It was a performance from a master.
