        I don't think Gucci will like this though.

        But I'm excited too to hear the new b-side.
        About the live tracks... they better be really special for them to be b-sides!
        To be honest: the best thing about ROTT are the b-sides and I can't imagine him making such few songs that he had to resort to live tracks.

        Anyway... we'll see. [insert cheesy In the future-reference here]

        I know it's kind of offtopic, but I had to ask. Im looking to buy The Boy Racer single, and I wanted to know how are the b-sides of that single. I know they are live tracks and from Vauxhall on his 95 tour. I've tried looking for reviews on the internet but cant find a thing. Even worse, I can't find a place to buy it online. You guys have any opinions?

          Adam Ant, Tony Visconti, Boz & The Moz (Score:1, Interesting)
          Interestingly I believe Adam Ant composed a b-side entitled "Christian Dior". Although I think that track was written prior to Boz Boorer's involvement as a co-writer with Adam Ant. I suppose another curious connection is the fact that Tony Visconti produced Adam Ant's album "Vive Le Rock" prior to producing Moz's "Ringleader". Maybe just one of those curious 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon type things.

              Bit dissapointed with the live track news, and 'Christian Dior' doesnt sound too promising, but at least Boz wrote it. I'll still be buying all three editions regardless.

                      Why not make that the single? I know it is a bit long for a single but who cares? "Light My Fire" by the Doors was a hit single..."In the future" is nothing spectacular, Moz by numbers. "Pigsty" would get people talking and it would have lent itself to a hell of a video. p.s. Morrissey's B-sides are terrific. Morrissey doesn't get enough credit for his generous B-side offerings. Everyone complains about this and that, but name me another popular artist who has given his fans so many quality B-sides.

                      Trance kind of Pigsty would kick ass, he'd get RADIOPLAY, CHARTPOSITION and hopefully we'd get a cool teen alluring VIDEO MOZ dancing.

                        The third single release from the runliggers of the demented (not only is it a bad choice) but it comes with live tracks that will probably sound just like the album versions but with people saying whooo wooo!! on the end outro.

                        Surely he wants this to sell, at least on the first 2 releases most people would of bought both cd1 & cd2 for the b sides.

                        Didnt we have enough of those live efforts on the Earls Court / Redondo album/singles.

                        I can see this being a mere top 20.
                        As we all know chart postions are meaningless but since the release of that email to sanctuary we now know Morrissey examines the chart placings with some gusto.

                        Get in the studio and lay down 3 new b sides and preferably none of those dodgy covers either.

                        Dont forget from the u ate the curry sessions we had FOUR lots of b sides!!!!

                        There are three brilliant songs left from the (Score:0, Insightful)
                        Ringleader sessions.
                        Sanctuary has persuaded Moz not to stick them on Ringleader single b-sides. They will be saved for a one-off single to be released in October. With the b-sides it will be the best single 'package' since Every Day is Like Sunday.

                        Talks with Radio 2, Virgin and XfM have conformed that each station would A-list the single as it is even catchier than First of the Gang. Sanctuary are gonna go all out to try and get Morrissey’s first number 1 single (they are confident that 50,000 units could be shifted; they just need to release the song in a relatively quiet week.)
                        OK, end of fantasy! Christian Dior is probably the last song from Ringleader sessions. Oh well!

                          Well, I think that once he's had a rest in September, he could do with getting back in the studio and banging out a totally new track... Loads of UK bands release singles that aren't part of any album, and they always sell well cos you'll never get em anywhere else... Means you get a good chart placing (if that's what drives you) and happy punters! I'm sure he's got plenty of half finished lyrics or ideas knocking about...

                          I'd rather he released something along the lines of 'INBAHN' BUT then I have a soft spot for torch songs... I know that not everyone is into that, so I accept that it's probably not single material!

                          What happened to the 8 b-sides? (Score:2, Interesting)
                          The lack of b-sides is puzzling me a bit. If you remember back to the interview with Tony Visconti in the NME, he said that they had recorded 20 new songs in the studio and that he thought the album deserved to be a double.

                          So far we’ve only had 5, including Christian Dior, original b-sides. So unless the plan is to realise 3 original b-sides on the forth single, if there is one, then I don’t understand what’s happened to the remaining 3 songs.

                          Sanctuary perhaps realise that if fans didn't buy the all new stuff on Youngest, they aren't going to buy this.
                          If they'd replaced Hero with Pigsty they'd be releasing the perfect single to tempt any 'maybe I will but let's hear some more songs' album buyers.

                              Would not have been my choice of a next single, although appropriate for these trouble time in which we live, I think IWSYIFOP would be infinitely better for conveying that sentiment (and a far catchier, edgier single). I actually think the b-side TMYAAWOA would have been a far superior choice of single since we haven't had a slow one from this album yet.

                              I have to say that I have been listening to ROTT a lot lately and although it hasn't been a huge commercial hit and people bitch about the set lists of the tour, it is, without doubt, one of his best albums over all. Everything just works, even without big hit singles (maybe that's why it does). It's definitely in my Top 5 of solo albums.
