Morrissey The Smiths Bobble Head - eBay item #300005773329

ATTENTION fellow Morrissey/Smiths fans. Have you ever seen anything like this? I don't think so...

MORRISSEY BOBBLE HEAD STATUE.

Yes, his head bobbles! *BOING BOING*.

Stands 22cm tall and is a proper heavyweight sculptured statue. Not a cheap plastic toy.

WORDS CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW RARE THIS ITEM IS

  • pretty cute doll despite the desperate "WORDS CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW RARE THIS ITEM IS" tag line. which by the way is an obvious bidding ploy. somewhere in a Watford warehouse sits a zillion of these little suckers.
    happy bidding!

  • Morrissey The Smiths Bobble Head RARE T-Shirt CD Marr?

I think the seller is lucky that no one has reported him for Title Spamming, as that auction offers neither a T-Shirt nor a CD, and has nothing whatsoever to do with Johnny Marr.

  • This is exquisite. How can you clowns compare this to the toby jug? At least this looks like moz! It belongs in a waxwork museum!

  • Well, considering that the Sox are not likely to have a "Morrissey Bobble-Head Doll" night at Fenway Park anytime soon, here's your chance to pick one up!

  • If not for the fact that it has flowers.

IT'S NOT 1983 ANYMORE. MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES PEOPLE.

Of course if it had fake scars and tattoo's, a la 1995 - a proper year - then I'd buy about 10 of them.

  • Except for the hair, it looks nothing like him!

It reminds me of the shabby wax museum in my hometown. They ran out of real wax figures of famous people, so they bough a bunch of Charles Bronson heads and then dressed them up to look like other movie stars. Really awful!

That is NOT Morrissey's face at all.

I bet this is something that someone created, figuring that they could make a nice profit selling someone's bobble "head" dressed as Moz.

(And will all you people stop bitching about who's shilling the price. Please. This is as legitimate of a "story" as anything else that appears on Moz-solo. There is no dirty work afoot here.)

  • Very nice, looks like Moz, I'd say 1984. Another illustration of Morrissey having the coolest hair in pop from 1984 to 1991. His hair is captured perfectly on that bobble head. I love it, I'll take 3 please.
    Anonymous -- Thursday July 13 2006, @11:01AM (#228188)
  • Apparently, those of you who don't think that this looks like him, have never seen Morrissey circa 1983.

Now, if they had added 40 pounds, pants that don't fit, and a face that looks like it's melting, then yeah, it would fit the modern Moz perfectly.
