MORRISSEY

On April 2, in a review of Morrissey's latest album Ringleader of the Tormentors, we said: ''Morrissey has come out as gay'' We wish to make clear that Morrissey has made no statement to that effect. Our comments were based on an interpretation of song lyrics on the album and not on any public statement by the singer.

No, anyone got a scan/transcription etc? Ridiculous or not as this may be, anything which makes this hideous, vile, small-minded, prurient publication eat humble pie must be a good thing!!

This site revolves around three things... (Score:1)

Hi,

I would like to say that I have tried several times to post news stories about Steve Hooker projects and Bozmen releases.

I find it interesting that just about anything that does not involve A: Sanctuary's earnings B: Mike Joyce(He was in the SMITHS-this is Morrissey SOLO, who cares?)or C: Morrissey's sexuality, does not get a mention!

Don't get me wrong, many thanks to the people who DID help me post the Boz related news, I really do appreciate it. I am just sick of coming here trying to post things about Boz while also trying to find out some legit news about the tour, record releases, etc. then seeing this "Morrissey might be gay/is gay/no he liked a woman so he's straight" crap nearly every single day!

Maybe, just maybe Morrissey wanted an apology not because he thinks it's an insult that some people think he's gay, maybe he's just sick of hearing about and reading about it all the bloody time. The guy deserves a life and deserves to be whatever he wishes to be, even if you(meaning all of us fans)don't know what that is.

As for myself, I've dated two bisexual guys, and one guy that used to be a female impersonator. So as you've probably guessed this "Is Morrissey gay?" thing does not keep me up at night! Move on to some REAL news items!

Twillight Zone (Score:1)

This correction made in this Daily Mail is somewhat significant in that this item was mentioned in a mysterious email that appeared on this site a few weeks earlier supposedly written by a certain irate singer to his boss.

I'm still not convinced on the validity of that email coming from that certain someone, but I admit, it is an amusing coincidence.
