A gentle reminder: Moz will be on Jonathan Ross on BBC1 (UK TV) at 10.35pm on Friday night (19th May). Could be music only, no interview. Go to the BBC link for further information. This is what is says about tomorrow's show:

Jonathan Ross talks to Robbie Williams, Terry Venables, William Shatner and Paul Bettany. With music from Morrissey and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

I can't imagine Morrissey alongside Robbie Williams and William Shatner.
He'll probably be outside having a fag with Boz untill it's time to come on! and he doesn't even smoke!!.

I assume it'll be 'The Youngest...'

Hope The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are playing 'Turn Into' it's one of the best singles released this year so far.

There really are too many guests on the show tonight though. Four interviews and two music performances. Surely this could have been trimmed to two shows.
    A pity.

Well, I couldn't deny that Moz appeared in fine fettle and enviable dress, but he was unfortunate to have appeared on the one show that boasted another musical item.

He put in a good turn, but for popular songwriting, performance and stage presence, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs blew him out of the water.

I believe the chart position of the single is going to be a pronounced disappointment.

      Shatner, incidentally, was magnificent.

I must say I was disgusted by the lack of musical ability shown by Moz' band on Jonathan Ross. Moz was note perfect but his band/group (whatever he calls them these days) let him down big time. Jesse Tobias was the pits, was he on drugs or something? The current line up is getting in the way of Moz fulfilling his potential live. I hate to say it but it is time Moz cut free of some dead weight.
