Morrissey to play acoustic session on BBC 6 Music - May 6th (?)

But we do get people making stuff up on this site.

Just to say I listened to quite a lot of Rocket Science on Saturday where Marc waxed lyrical about Morrissey's Lowry show. I also heard the beginning of Mint on Sunday where he had another conversation about Morrissey.

On neither occasion did he mention this acoustic set. Surely he would have taken the opportunity while he was on the subject to remind his listeners about this scoop?

Just checked it on the "listen again" facility. Riley said that he had approached Moz's people and that they had said it could be do-able but it would require a u-turn in Moz's "principles, philosophy and standards". But Lard said he remained optimistic.

He also claimed that he was the highest paid DJ at the BBC.

How's he going to play an acoustic unless it's pre-recorded or phoned in from Manchester?
Or is this show done in Manchester? ... I don't listen to the radio, so I don't know where BBC 6 music is broadcast from.
